ASU Waterski team gives coach a DBski See pictures in the News section Seth Stisher recieves a DBski See pictures in the News section	Design	Each DBSKI ski is constructed as a collaborative design with the customer. I will work with you to produce the ski of your dreams. You have the option of several woods to produce the ski, (check the wood options below.) For an additional cost I can use about any wood you would desire. Once you pick your woods, we will then design a glue-up pattern. This could be as simple as a stripe pattern or as intricate as you desire. The gallery page will illustrate previous designs. The final element of the design is the graphics and fonts. These will be CNC router cut into the ski. You can pick almost any font for the text or a combination of fonts. Standard graphics include the skier silhouette or the palm tree. I can program and cut graphics of your own design for an additional cost.
	Construction	Once we have finished the design I will construct your ski completely in-house in my shop. There are several options in the construction technique. The text and graphics are CNC cut into the middle layers of the ski.
		These layers are generally constructed of walnut, a dark colored wood, so when the text is cut it appears dark..
		An option is to paint the recessed areas of the text. Due to the increased labor there is a slight increase of price for this option. All skis are built using waterproof epoxy glue and marine varnishes for maximum durability. If the skis are displayed outside, recoating of the varnish will be required occasionally. You have a choice of sheens for the varnish, flat, satin or gloss. I prefer the satin finish but the choice is yours.
		The ski includes the fin and fin cap again in any wood choice. The wings on the fin are an option at an additional cost.
	Pricing	Pricing is determined by the final selection of woods and options. The base price of a simple ski using the top four wood choices and basic graphics is $500 excluding shipping. A $200 deposit is required to start construction and design of the ski. Upon completion I will E-mail you a photo of the finished ski so you may check for any desired changes or additions. Upon the receipt of the balance the ski will be shipped. Completion time averages around 3-4 weeks once the deposit is received.
